Hello people. I am new to this posting on forums business so bear with me.
I was looking for some advice on a monitor. I have got a new system with all black drives, black keyboard/mouse etc and want a good 17"/19" black monitor to go with it. I can't afford a TFT unfortunately so that is out. I have been searching around on the web but I am struggling to find many. Anyone know anywhere?
Do you stock black monitors at the shop Graeme???

Just checked the site again and seen the monitors you have on there! Bit expensive for me at the mo' with having just shelled out for a new system and all.
Any places with much cheapness??

We have some factory refurbished 19" P96 IBM Monitors in black - perfectly flat trinitron screens, normally £500ish we have them for £275 inc VAT. Still come with 3 yr warranty too !!! Only a few left though.
I used to have one of these refurb ibms and they are sweeeeet :D Get one you won't be dissapointed :)
Drexel, if you have a so so monitor at the mo save your money for a wee while and get yourself a good monitor it is well worth spending a few extra bob on it as all the time you spend infront of the puter you will be staring at the su***r... ;)
btw the P96 is V nice....
OMG 275 quid for that monitor...BARGIN!!!!!
my advice is to hold out for a 19 or 21 inch monitor...afterall you will probably be replacing your PC in 1-2 years if you get a GOOD monitor(which the IBM is a very fine example) you will not have to replace it for many years.
One thing to make sur eis that the monitor is apeture grille(sure thats spelt wrong)and has a good dot pitch
the ibm fulfils these and at a very reasonable price :)

Must say, as an aside, Graeme, your couriers are brilliant! I don't know if there is a main branch for each of them in Manchester but both the big deliveries I have had from you in the past month (TNT then CityLink) have been sent 'next day delivery' and have both arrived the same afternoon as they left scotland! Excellent!
Anyhoo, monitor. One world describes it, Quality!!!!! Its big, black, heavy and crystal clear. Also got second VGA port so have 2 pc's attached to it with the switch mounted on the front. Well impressed, and for £275, a complete steal.
Head hurts now though. Been playing MOHAA until at least 1 each morning. At least I can see who I'm shooting (or getting leathered by more truthfully!!!) now.

all gone, but we're getting some of the 17" model in very soon (single input only) - it's black case, perfectly flat trinitron screen and will probably be about £180 inc vat with 3 year carry-in warranty

Got my IBM 17" black monitor last week (thanx Graeme!) and OMG!!! its amazing!!!definitely worth the money. the picture quality is phenomenal, it really is crystal clear, and the picture is so sharp and bright. dont know how i survived with my 15" Digital monitor now!!! oh and its exactly the same colour as my Dragon case and logitech keyboard which is an added bonus!! :D
