Chenks - are you sure you only get 926? lol - thats really low!
well yeah that's what it came up with
i only have an ATI All-In-Wonder 128 Pro... not the most beefiest vga cards out... but i don't use the PC for games anyway

i used ot have that ati card as well
the 3d mark score sucked with it
but thne i moved to the pentium 4 with the gf4 ti4200 and now get abotu 10 times that score at jsut under 10000
its sweet
but need more
i'm not bothered really... as i don't play games.. other than Championship manager, and that isn't graphic intensive

Championship manager is the greatest game in history!. Sorry to be of topic ^_^. But i haven't been able to play it for about 8 months (turned out to be a dodgy cpu, and it took 8 months because it only started to get really bad recently).
i won the champions cup with rangers...
and the missus managed to win the champions cup with celtic in about 10 seasons

sorry for the late reply, was about £2500.
The radeon really opens up the throttle when you put it together with a p4.
i get 6000 marks :) Not too good, but it does the job well, mainly the job of playing cs :)

Thomas, I suspect that's the system that you guys have just built for me. I got slightly higher out of box with a score of 15174 :D

I suppose if it's in here it's got to belong to someone else, but just you wait 8) we'll be building 3+ghz ones soon, with whatever nvidia choose to call their next card 8)
But seriously, I knew that machine would be quick, but it's a blinder !!!

woo how Thoms is constantly on now?
3dmark 2001se scores of 20,000 are being broken with 9700 pros...
guess Nvidia is going to bite back and we should see 25,000 being broken soon...
but that's for the people who overclock the nuts out of their systems.
and i am talking P4s overclocked to 3.0ghz+,
crazy speed ram @ crazy FSBs as well as 9700 Pros on the boiling point of overclockness...
i still remember it was a tough job for some overclocking nut to break the 10,000 barrier with a heavily modded ati 8500 - think he needed a new copper heatsink perfectly lapped to a mirror finish...
some crazy US guys even slap some peltiers on their graphics card... next they will make vapochill sub-units for graphics cards!!!
Thats a decent score I can pull of 14100 with this setup and 15500 with my r9700 so :p .
