Pencil Trick (http://www.xcl-clan.com/articles.php3?id=29)
Here's the snip!
The Radeon 8500 is on the market for some months now and the drivers are maturing. The only annoying thing are some market tactics that ATi uses. The most important one being that only their “retail” version has a core and memory clock of 275Mhz. These are the ones with a ‘Build by ATi’ label on the box. The LE’s/OEM’s and the 3rd party cards (3rd party OEM and/or retail) are clocked at 250Mhz or even worse 230 MHz. These have ‘Powered by ATi’ label on the box.
Just saw it and thought of you guy's
Enjoy.
PS. At your own risk!
