I tried to run it on a Celeron 400 with a 4MB ATI RAGE PRO, it got so near the end on the lowest possible settings... but it crashed my system everytime... sigh life in the slow lane, :)

on my 1ghz tbird @ 1.1ghz using an abit kt7 board wz01b bios and my leadtek sdr geforce clocked @ 130/180 i get 2008 in 3dmark2001 :D

hehe,
we just built up a DDR machine with 1.33ghx AXIA tbird, and ge-force 2 pro for dead_one, He says it gets 3500!!!

But that's definately thanks to the 11.01 drivers for my GeForce2 GTS. Anything lower gave me ~2000

3D Mark 2001 is really scary!! - My 650 Duron, 128Mb RAM, GeForce 2 MX PC only gets 1134 on it!! :eek: (It gets 3266 on 2000)
Any other scores on similar systems??

My 800mhz duron with a voodoo 5 agp only gets 1529 3dpoints I think thats probably about normal for the voodoo 5 might increase if i add more ram do you think?

gets 3820 in 2000

Depends whether 2001 is designed to make use of the Geforce's T&L unit, then the Voodoo will be constantly at a disadvantage.

p3 450 128 meg ram geforce pro and i used to have a cyrix 233 ah running 3d mark 2000 on that puppy was funny as hell :D

Mind you people will come along next year with their 2.2GHz Pentium 4s or 2GHz Athlons, Geforce 4 Ultras and get scores of 10000+ before 3D Mark 2002 comes along, :)!

you get that on a standard 1 gig with a geforce, cpu seems to make very little difference.

I got 980 3d(2001) marks,
i then oc'd my gfx card to the point the thermal paste was bubling, and i was getting snow flakes and grafic errors. and i got 983 :D

My Celery 400 @ 600, SE6, 256mb PC133, Hercules MX 32mb OEM (std clock) gets 1349 at default benchmark

Well I'm using the 10.80's, spliced with millenium reference drivers and my score is 2957. Really want to hit 3000, but 2957 is tweaked to hell already, minus overclocking the CPU mind you. This is pretty damn good when I compare it to some other rigs though. The gainward card has a big part to play though, and as you know, these are extremely rare, and I managed to get my hands on one for just £300. Check out those clocks! And that is 100% stable. Btw, the whole system is cooled by thermaltake, including blorbs on the chipset and GPU. Golden Orb on the CPU and Memory cooling kits to-boot (that includes the thermaltake heatsinks on the GPU ram also). Anyone think the 11x series reference are better than the 10's?? :rolleyes:

There is a minor problem here, no one is stating what the settings where! I did a ton of tests and got very different 3D Mark 2001 scores at different settings, so maybe people should put down what settings they were using to test their PC.

Actually no this will be anarchy, this is the standard setting which everyone should post as

Resolution and Colour Depth = 1024x768 at 32bit colour
Antialiasing = None
Frame Buffer = Double
Texture Format = 32 Bit
Z-Buffer Depth = 24Bit

using default settings @ 1024 x 768 at 32 bit etc, now get 6137.
1.3ghz athlon
geforce 3 @ 225-500
256mb ddr
all same as previous post
me thinking 6500 feasible without changing much, oc to 1.4ghz or stop being lazy and put in the 1.4ghz i've got somewhere

Well I get 6695 in 3DMK 2001 and 11041 in 3DMK 2000. Both tests run at default setting. Testing done at 1520 9.5x160 and the GF3 clocked at 235/530 on Det 12.90 It will go higher but I'm in the process of upgrading some components so I've not tested for a while. Both tests were published on MadOnion. I'll post the URL's if you are interested.

default settings. 1.4GhzAthlon@1.6Ghz, GF3 at 230/530(only for testing) all rest as before. 6776. will post soon as i get a new modem, think it was the lightning.
