We won't be able to despatch any orders on Bank Holiday Monday as the Post Office and our couriers are both closed on this day. All orders placed between now and Monday will instead be despatched on Tuesday !
Thanks for your understanding and we wish everyone a good holiday weekend :)

I'm sorry but i dont understand.....
I am working all weekend, and I think it is a diabolical liberty that people should get a day off just because the banks are shut.
What makes it worse is I am working for Securicor/DHL taking peoples stuff from the sorting hub at Hatfield to Milton Keynes for distribution so all this rot about couriers not working just doesen't cut the mustard..
This post is tongue in cheek, although true in respect of me working, I hope everyone has a good few days off, keeps out of the way of my artic and lets me earn a few quid on quiet roads. Mind you, if the missus gets her hands on the cash it means Graeme and the boys will be a little bit poorer.
I'm almost in tears at this news...
I never realised it was a bank holiday AND I ASKED FOR THE DAY OFF :(
<waves bye bye to £50 for 5 hrs work>
WHY OH WHY OH WHY GOD MUST YOU BE SO CRUEL?

We actually are working on Monday, so orders will be processed and packed as normal, we just can't physcially send them out.
I guess the phrase 'Bank Holiday' would be better referred to as 'Public Holiday' because as you've said there, it's not just the banks that close. The majority of our suppliers are closed on Monday too.
