View Full Version : New Rig, 3D Mark 2001SE score ok?
Hi all,
Just got me new rig set up and with no tweaking or oc'ing (yet) my 3D Mark 2001SE score was 11,398, is this good/bad?
Specs: P4 2.53ghz, 2x512mb OCZ PC2700, Ti4600, Maxtor 40GB H/D, MSI Mobo.
What do you reckon? :)

why does this thread show a post by Dead_One at 01:14 this morning on the forums front page, but doesn't show it in the thread itself
Yeah, I also received an email saying that Dead_One had posted but alas no post?

is cos it was deleted
That scores a little low, Your gonna get that P4 to 2.8Ghz easy. Once there you should score 13k Default. If not something is wrong. Use the new nvidia drivers also.
You will only reach the scores made in bencmarks by THG, etc....
If you have configured your board completely, BIOS, Drivers, etc.
SO dont think that your card will reach them scores out of the box.
Synthetic benchmarks are useless in the end though TBH.
Its how they perform in real time applications that matters more.
