i am. yes i know that my pc has an altogether better spec (except the g-force 3 :() but i want to be able to sit down on the sofa, with a couple of m8s, exchange arials at the back of the tele and then beat my friends. yes i know that there are 2player games for the pc but even playing champ manager 2 player isn't very appealing. it just isn;t the same sitting at the pc as it is with a console. also why am i buying an xbox? because microsoft are a company which has (as a pc owner) proven itself to me time and time again.
let me think about that one...... no :)

em!!
we thinking about the same microsoft company?
i would have thought the fact that its micrsoft would put you off it
i dont want a console that crashes every so often
i wonder if there is a Crtl-Alt-Delete equivalent on the joy pad
and well seeing as i crash my cable box quite often then i think i would probably crash a X-Box

I think the number of games consoles coming out on the market just now is a bad thing - gamecube, psx2, x-box etc - plus the pc of course - we've seen before that when competition gets like this there are always losers (anyone remember Sega Saturns, Atari Jaguars or Amiga CD32s??) which as a result means that a lot of people are stuck with hardware and software that suddenly becomes very low in value and they can't get any new games or whatever. If I was buying a console , I certainly wouldn't do it now - hang back for a while and see how the market settles out..
nah i wont be.....
i bought the ps2 for silly money just to play gt3, i also justified the purchase with its ability to play dvds.....as for the xbox vs ps2 .....id say sony are a fair match for microsoft...its nintendo that im unsure about
Although im a lifelong subscriber to all things nintendo, the n64 didnt do too much for me and i still wonder if the game cube will produce the goods...seams to be a younger gamers choice.
all 3 seam strong with sega now making games for nintendo...the first one to bring out Jamie Oliver must die wins as far as im concerned..... :p
