Suspension Designers?

any of you guy know anything bout suspension....i'm designing a suspension system for a Formula 3000 car and its screwing with my brain

lol well the boss wants a whole new suspension system and i am telling him it isn't possible in 8 weeks so i am now at my wits end. I am on placement so i have tried breaking the project down into smaller chunks that can be accomplished in 8 weeks such as material selection, spring and damper co-efficients and optimal settings that kinda thing. Boss is really not happy and says he isn't paying for it anymore to which my response was 'fine'!

I'll continue to use his resources finish my placement and reports and he fill recieve sweet FA :D

they are mainly bikers, but geeky bikers, who all have large ammounts of qualifications... you might have seen the team on robot wars....

Hi Dave,

Wondered how this project went in the end? Basically I'm after some contacts, since I'd like to try and get into racing and F3000 seems like a good place to start.

The way to start mate is Karting, plane and simple unless you can fund your own F3000 team.

Get yourself a Go-Kart Team and get yourself in the British Go Kart Championships. I used to race in the Scottish Champs and a few of the lads i used to know are now in Formula Ford and F3000
