Why do they not make decent flight sims any more, you used to be able to play the likes of falcon 3.0 and f15 strike eagle, now we got nothing!

I wanna shoot some bogeys on my six!

I have found that it tends to be because they try to make them to realistic and so it takes alot of the fun out of the game. I did try a demo of F22 Raptor i think and found that quite fun as you are given nukes to drop and was a good laugh getting wipped out by the shock wave :) and watching the big cloud apear behind you.

The professional edition of flight sim 2002 is great as is combat fligt sim 2 (at a bargin price), and combat flight sim 3 is almost here too.

Aparantly anothed edition of falcon is in the works. Eurofighter typhoon wasn't all that bad.

i had Falcon 4 and found it extremely boring as there was not much killing. In my experience the best flight sims are helicopter one like , Team Apache and Gunship.

Falcon 4.0 set out for realisim - I am yet to find a realistic helicopter/gun ship sim.
