WOW this is a gem of a game.

Graphics are very nice and its just sooo much fun to knock the lumps outta some guy and nick his car. Its really like so many sub games in one overall title.

"Violence version of Midtown Madness / Driver"

Certainly lives upto the PS2 hype

Mind you it does stick a bit at 1600x1200 MAXED on GF3 XP1800 Abit AT7 256DDR

PLEASE NOTE:
Windows XP Users with Nvidia cards need to get a file to allow the game to run.

"Q306676_WXP_SP1_x86_ENU.exe"

This does alter your log on / off screen though.

well i would say
em ok it looks nice
but its buggy IMHO

i tried the game out on one occasion - was ok
apart from stearing with the keyboard is just not good and it didnt want to detect my sound card
lol - said no audio hardware available yet it was playing music - jsut no sfx

this game belongs on the ps2 where i think the gameplay is better

next time I tried the game, it wouldnt load,
gta3.exe (think its that) kept crashing everytime
then if it did load, it took about 5 mins to do so

after speaking to other folk that tried it as well, there seems to have been lots of problems with the game running
which is a shame seeing as its one of the most eagerly awaited games on the PC so far this year


think i'll stick to looking forward to the release of NWN, IWD2 and WC3

There is a Blood patch available if you know where to look you will find it.

Also running the game in hi-Res blows the PS2 away with much higher drawing distance to boot.

Yeah i've got it on PC&PS2 and its Bloody Great. But it is quite demanding on your machine on high Res 1152x864 especially when you've only got a P3 1ghz and Voodoo 5500 64mb. I can't wait till i get my 2.2ghz P4! (oh yes indeedy) :D
