Just pre-ordered this, should have it within a week ----woooo :)

Haven`t bought a game since xmas , looking forward to this one, I totally loved the books/film etc and I`ve completed the other three (or is it 2? :) ) Dune games..

yeh, completed dune 1 + dune 2 on the amiga, then dune2000 on the pc. :)

and yes, over a year later. I just completed this game tonight. Having no PC for about 7/8 months probably had a lot to do with it (and that I had to start again from scratch with the game etc!) but I'm pleased to have got there in the end !

I read the book when I was in Primary 7 at school (always thought that seemed funny, everyone else had Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton in the library, and I was reading this 600 page Herbert novel!!!) and that helped make the film a little easier to understand. I see there's a Dune DVD box set available, might get round to buying it some day

Hey graeme you know there is a new 1st person Dune called, "Frank herburts DUNE".
Try WHSmiths if you want it. £19.99 out of there and £29.99 out of GAME. I have it. It doesn't react with XP to well.
