This chick is mental but has made a wonderfully written site with a great turn of phrase. Well worth a few minutes of your time.

For anyone who is too young to remember, Chernobyl was a sodding great nuclear power station in Russia that went boom quite spectacularly and cause all the sort of devestation generally associated with nuclear holocaust.

I found it through a forum for people who live in Cambridge yesterday so I don't know where it originated.

Although I don't live in cambridge, my mate does and they're a good bunch of people.

That's a great story, and well worth a read.
She has more bottle than I have, I don't think I'll be signing up for any tours in the near future.
I have a friend who was near there when it went up.
He was in the Army at the time, and was discharged soon after on ill health and has had all sorts of problems ever since.
