Just read on BBC news/media that a price cut is due on the Game cube now to be £129.99 but shop will still let it go out on the third of may at £180 with these silly laws we have so shop around to get the best price Gamecube indeed lol ''PC's Rule''

i not even going to get 1 it does not have a dvd so i think its going to be s**t.

+ Nintendo machines are normaly for little kids, just look at the first game they brought out it was ANOTHER mario game.

True they are more of a little Kids console but my little Bro (30yrs old) is a little Kid and wont shut up about them. I know he is so Sad :D

So??? Spend £129 for a Gamecube and then another £85 at Tesco's for a Dansai DVD1010 MULTIREGION DVD Player and you are away!!! Lets not forget that to watch DVD's on the X-Box you need to spend extra for the DVD Kit and the PS2 doesn't play VCD's(and even then is very picky on S-VCD's) without a 3rd party program AND you still have to pay extra money to make them MultiRegion!!!!.

Just because it doesn't have a DVD player doesn't make it any worse than the other consoles. If it did then a P4 2.4Ghz Northwood with 2Gb PC2100 CAS2 & a GF4 with a CD-ROM drive is a worse machine than a Celeron 600, 128Mb PC100 & a DVD-Rom at your angle of talking!!!!!!!!!!

The N64 was technologically superior to any other console available at the time but poor marketing let it down. At £70 less than the other 2 competitors AT RELEASE DATE (how much will it be come Xmas???)that gives you the scope to buy 2 games with the console. nintendo have got it right this time in my eyes (& yes I have used a GC and damn impressive it was too) and the line up of games available on release and up-coming for release, makes the X-Box look poor in comparison. Why do you think MS are talking about X-Box 2 already??????

Have you seen Resident Evil on the GC???? Makes most other games on alternate platforms look silly.

you can always count on nintendo to have some quality games...i mean mario kart, goldeneye and Zelda (3, 64) have to be some of the greatest of all time.

i recon sony arnt too bothered about neither, theve already sold thousands, its up to xbox and gcube to duke it out for 2nd, and im with the gcube :p
