idiot proof web design software

Hi i have to design and get a Halo clan/feature web site up and running, unfortuantly i have no idea what software to use, any1 got some ideas of what software wuld be good for a n00b @ web-design.

Dreamweave MX is Idiot proof, btw this should be in programming.

i would say dreamweaver too, and search google for free templates. at least then most layout etc is done for you already...

Frontpage is definately the easiest to work with (from experience), but Dreamweaver outputs much better code (normally standards compliant too).

Dreamweaver can be a little overwhelming because it has a large collection of tools and is very flexible.

I'd start with something like Frontpage. If your feeling a little adventureous and want to give working with code a go then try HTMLKit.

It's the best of both worlds, you see the code as a direct result of clicking buttons and filling in forms. Once you have a better understanding you can start typing tags yourself - Its also free...
