Hey guys,

Heard some rumours that shuttle's default PSU has trouble starting up with some power-heavy components including certain graphics cards. Anyway, does anyone know if the default 200W PSU would be able to handle the following:

2600+ (OC'd of course to 3000 speeds :P)
512MB DDR333 (unbranded)
128MB Radeon 9800 pro (this is the worrier)
120GB WD HD
8xDVD Drive

Cheers

There is no definitive answer to that question............many people have chucked alsorts into their45's and had no problems, others have had heartache from it.
Its luck of the draw as to the sensitivity of the power protection circuit in your psu.

I realize that this answer is no help to you but it really is just luck of the draw.

Myself,I went and bought a Silentx psu to cure my problem although there is a design for a power delay circuit that will also cure it.
