seriously tho, just intended a bit of humour, no mac flames please
Oh man. Apple pulls of another Excellent Computer design. reminds me of the ipod. Good Work Apple!! But uhh. where to you plug your LAN in?
well thats an easy one, its wifi but more the question, why network macs? they can perform their simple sums as lone units, with the upgraded lcd however there could be an optional tetris two player:)
Thats cool. How much do they cost?
Also. Can they play snake?
snake requires purchase of the advanced unit which shouldnt be mentioned until the first 100000 units are sold
and the advanced unit will cost an extra £100 more than the original
they are expected to retail at about £1372.45½

HAH!!!!
Exactly what I've been saying for years. Proven. Job done.
IB.
I'm assuming this is only a prototype, and will be put in a suitably pretty and designer shell which will increase the price ten or twenty times?
Nick

quiet day in the shop then ?? :p
we plan to bulk lots of big cooking apples, hollow out the middles and insert the g6 prototype engine (picture above) into the apples.
' the cooling efficiency and heat dissipation of the average apple is greatly underestimated, we plan to have our new mac G6 (codenamed: beagletreacle') running for duations of 2hours, maybe even a few mintues more depending on ambient conditions and the colour of your curtains'

heehee just my little joke ;)
that reminds me of a new feature that will be integrated into the mac, we ahve all had those annoying windows error messagess that give really long technical information which can be useful sometimes. the g6 prototype is using the latest thing from applee, iSarc, which in short displays a comment instead of an error message like "buffer underrun has occured" iSarc will interpret this as "well done, you complete dolt" or "smart move, moron"
this new error reporting system will save hours of wasted engineers time by automatically telling the user the exact same response you would get from a tech support line.
more innovations will be added and hopefully a preview of the appple's new ibook, the imaginative ibook3, it was so advanced we thought 2 was insignificant
And will all that make a tasty Apple pie?
Mmmm Pie!

I've found a new and cunning use for G5s.
Something that has never been possible with computers before now.
I'll post a photo soon.

I've been looking into a Mac for awhile now, how much would one of these cost?
The entire range, direct: http://www.apple.com/uk/thestore/ :)

It certainly looks nice, but I don't think it has the elegance of the G5. A little bit too busy on the front for me, but the insides look interesting [and full! :D ].
