According to Shuttle the SB61G2 does not support any Prescott CPU's, but i have read on other forums that it does and can run CPU's up an beyond 3.4ghz.

Any ideas guys?

Nop, not Prescott.
But the other p4 line will go beyond 3.4ghz.
