I'm re-building by PC, but am unsure of which memory would be the best to go with my ASUS A7V8X-X/LAN i've got on order.

I've seen that lots of people use OCZ but which of the 512MB varieties do i use?

If you want performance RAM I personally go for Kingston HyperX or Corsair.

Normal RAM I would go for Twinmos or Adata or Crucial like Kustom sell.

I presume you'll have a processor that supports a max of 333fsb then the bare minimum you should go for is PC2700 or higher.

im very happy with my 1gig of PC3200 OCZ ram. it looks GoooD too :D

I've got the same board as you and have a set of (512mb) Corsair TwinX XMS3200 and a single of Corsair 512MB XMS3200. Performance fantastically.
