If its the world series why aint eny teams playing in it from my neck of the woods.

Now while I am at it why is football on the other side of the pond having a non round ball and you can use your hands , and it looks more like rugby for the afraid.

Well, i assume you mean baseball...there are a few probable answers.

1) They have two leagues, the American league and the National league. So they can't call it the American series because then people would think it was two teams from the A.L.

2) American's think they are brilliant at everything so the MLB wants to represent itself as *the* world organization of baseball.

As for US Football, that's just stupid.

I can see the connection when you consider the game evolved when some t*sser decide to throw the ball forward, but what on earth possesed them to dress up in ladies tights and lycra tops? Big Girls. :D
