:mad: They new didnt they, I went out and splurged my cash on a shiney net p4 3.2c and the gits waited a week and released p4 extreme edition !!!!...... :eek: i mean a poor guy like me in the frozen wastes of the Falklands and they didnt tell me.... Right ill give them EXtreme...... To the Bank mobile, Kustom get those shiney amd 64bit things out and a new board im a comin to see ya when THomas sorts ma card out.... Which means my Thread will probably be for sale (or elecrtocution) havent decided yet.. :mad:

They may well have 'released' the extreme edition......but no one has got any of them and nobody knows what the price is......so I don't think that you have missed much yet.:)

Looking at various benchmarks , it doesn't really look like the Extreme Edition is leaps and bounds ahead of the standard CPUs. Sure, it's an improvement, but I wouldn't feel cheated if you don't have one. Let's face it, there's *always* something new around the corner, and there's never a perfect time to buy.

i suppose, ill calm down a bit when all is well with my pc, 'cmon Graeme whip THomas i need my card.... :) and my memory gets here ( I got it from overclockers, it had nearly 30,000 faults when using memcheck86) still i get back from winter in the Falklands to erm, well..... winter in the uk.. im gonna be upset at the slightest thing .... oh i dont care about the cash thing am stupid enough with spending cash on cars to worry too much about PC spending... :D

lol the CoolFX card was in wasn't it but hey look at the thread and youll all know somethings have changed, 2x kingston duel channel kits from overclockers and they didnt work so ocz from kustom worked lovely and 2x coolfx 1600 from your fine selves + thomas = Raedon 9800XT lol :) ah well hope he sent a lovely message back with them.... oh and thanks to one and all for fixing my pc now, bloody long way to go and it was bloody cold with not much to do in ayr but hey didnt brechin beat ayr !! lol hehe and ive learnt my lesson at listers house wont leave myself logged in again !! :)
