As reported in MCN this week, Colin Edwards jumped onto Sete Gibernau's RCV last week in Catalunya (with Sete's settings) and took 0.1s off Valentino Rossi's lap record!!!
I think next season is going to be a great season for Colin Edwards, and it's going to be great for the fans like us. What makes it all the more special is getting a rider of the quality of Edwards back onto a competitive bike after a hellish year.
Valentino moving to Yamaha? Good news for the sport, if a little disappointing for Rossi/Honda fans like myself. But having Edwards step back into the Honda fold is awesome. It would have been interesting having both on the same machinery though - perhaps to lead Sete and Valentino, the way Max couldn't?
Check out the link below for a short clip of the Texas Tornado on a test run on the RCV. Just wait till he dials in his own settings!!!
