Americans, due to law suits are having to put some damn strange things on web sites, products etc. The rant bit would be about the stupidity of it all from a British perspective.
The bit about pregnant women, heart conditions etc. at the end, gives the game away - it's a joke. (I think!)
I think thats one of kyles jokes but you can never be sure with him :D
Here's an example. It is a "Forward Looking Statement Disclaimer" and is referred to after describing how well the company has done this year and how they expect to finish the financial year.
"Any statements made in this release that are not based on historical fact are forward-looking statements. Any forward-looking statements made in this release represent management's best judgment as to what may occur in the future. However, our actual outcome and results are not guaranteed and are subject to certain risks, uncertainties and assumptions (“Future Factors”), and may differ materially from what is expressed. For a description of Future Factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from such forward-looking statements, see the discussion under the section ”Forward-Looking Statements” included in Management's Discussion and Analysis..."
In other words "We'll do this well... or we won't. !!!!!!
