oops this yellow daytona of rays was taken out by a porsche at that german track.... whats it calledi cant think.... wasted youth hehe a complete writeoff

plenty of gaffatape and touch up stuff so it was ridable from germany to calais... then put in a van to go home, it actucally looks real nasty on the other side too! damn porsche drivers lol

The fairing panels will cost a couple of hundred a peice, exhaust end can around £400-500, mirrors indicators etc. £40-£50. It doesn't take a lot to make a pretty hefty repair bill and that's just the parts by the time labour is added on it's into the thousands. Second hand price for a bike like that is probably around £4000 so you can see why it could be written off.

Nice bike...doubt very much it would be written off though, looks to be only light damage...

As I disappeared after this post for a while I will point out it was written off. Cuz Ray had to go and get a new bike with the money from the insurance company. it also flipped over and damaged the whole other side, there was lots of various fluids leaking afterwards too. crazy

Wow, if you hadn't said that Adam, I would never of realised this post had started in 2003! And I thoguht it started about 3 days ago! :D :rolleyes:

Anyway, your right, it only looks like a scratch, probebly something from JML that would sort that out.

What exactly happened there :confused: , Im going there next month, getting a hire car, dads told me that theres bikes going round there about 160 :eek:
