This is my first ever post in the Car/Bikes forum so I thought I'd start it off with this:

http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/vw_conceptr.asp

What does everyone think? Personally I'm impressed! It's basically VW's answer to the TT and I love them so this will have to go onto my wish list :)

Nice but reminds me much more of Vauxhall's roadster than the TT.

Probably designed by the same people in the same design workshop :)

And it's going to have the 3.2 litre V6 engine out of the Golf R32, which I believe is going into a new TT option as well.

I very much doubt this is aimed at the TT market, as Audi and Volkswagen share resources and one taking market share off the other gives no overall gain! I am reminded of the Vauvhall/Opel VX roadster (as already stated by Big Adam!), and that puts it into that 'Lotus' territory. Now for VW this is new territory, and would open up a small but new and lucrative market for them.

Looks very nice, but the VW badge is too big... Thats the thing that has always anoyed me about most VW's. The badge is just too big.

Same could be said for Seat, but I suppose that's not surprising as they're owned by VW
