Have many people tried buying anything from this site? Yes they are cheap but how long does it take!! I am still waiting for DVDs I ordered at the start of August. They take the money straight away but don't seem to bother sending out the DVDs. I then ask for a refund and it takes 2 weeks and several phone calls to get anything! Plust they don't respond to emails.

Usually dispatched in 72 hours, pile of rubbish I say! Anyone bought anything from these people that was dispatched in 72 hours?

I have only used them once, found them cheap but slow to deliver so now just stick to play.com.:)

Thats what i am going to do in the future now as well, the couple of quid save isn't worth this hassle!

Although Play are getting slower. I ordered Elvis 30 #1's on DVD-A and it was sent the day after (Thurs 11th) but didn't turn up until yesterday (17th).

I know it's more down to Royal Mail, but maybe they're now sending second class or something. I used to get a 3 day service: Order Wednesday, sent Thursday and recieve Friday, or Saturday at worst.

I have noticed with play that if I order on the wednesday, Thursday or Friday I now don't get it till at least the next wednesday. However if you order on Monday or Tuesday you normally have it by Thursday or Friday.

After nearly a month and a half waiting for an in stock item, I ended up having to threaten to appeal to my credit card company after i bought something on splash for a mates sister.

They refunded 2 days after i did that.

If things go astray they refund you pretty quickly.

you need a never used them option in the poll..

i have never used them, and of the other two retailers, cdwow and play, tend to use play. not been buying recently, so can't comment on the slowdown...

I got Special Edition of The Fifth Element in 2 days (released 24th), so I believe the slowdown only affects In stock dvds... Thats as best I can make out anyway.
